Who We Are 

In 1981, the Headlee family threw all their eggs into one basket and opened a roofing company with nothing but a forklift, a truck, and each other. Now, over 35 years later, the company has grown to include a branch in Tucson, several grandchildren, and a lot more trucks. We pride ourselves on our work ethic and family values. In some families, running a business and working together wouldn't be possible, but the Headlee's do it everyday, and we do it well, by continuing to make family a priority, and never losing our sense of humor. We gladly welcome our business partners and our customers into the Headlee Roofing family.

Choosing a Roofing Contractor

When you invest in your home, it's important to choose a contractor you trust. The multitude of options available can be daunting. Here are a few things to consider when choosing a contractor.

1. Look for a valid Registrar of Contractors number (ROC#). It is illegal to contract without a license in the state of Arizona. Unfortunately, it happens all too often.

2. Find customer reviews. Installing a new roof or doing other construction to your house isn't like buying a new car: you can't test drive before you buy. The best way to verify a company's reputation is through their customers and suppliers.

3. Check longevity of company. The time a company has been around speaks volumes about their credibility.

4. Compare your contracts carefully. When you examine contractors' bids or estimates, check carefully that they include all of the work you expect. Check the unit cost for extras such as wood replacement discovered after the roof is removed.

5. Ask for Certificates of Insurance. It is the best way to ensure you're protected.

6. Quality work isn't cheap.
